Lochsa Day Trip 

Trip Details

  • $219 / person

  • Duration: ~7–8 hours on the river (20+ miles), level dependent

  • Meeting Point: 8:30 AM PST - Three Rivers Resort, Lowell, ID 

  • Return: ~3:30 - 5:00 PM PST - back to resort

  • Gourmet riverside lunch - prepared in house

  • Age Recommendation: 13+

  • 4-8 people per raft, depending on water level

  • Gratuities: 10–15% is customary if you had a great trip

  • Weather: Highs in the 70s, lows in the 40s

  • Water temp: 40–50°F — dress in layers, stay hydrated

  • For your safety, alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the river.

Lochsa Half Day Trip

  • Duration: ~4–5 hours on the river (12+ miles), level dependent

  • Meeting Point: 8:30 AM PST — Three Rivers Resort, Lowell, ID

  • Return: ~1:00 – 2:00 PM PST — back to resort

*no running involved - Just 30 miles of top notch lochsa Rapids

  • Meeting Point: 8:00 AM PST — Three Rivers Resort, Lowell, ID

  • Return: ~5:00 - 6:00 PM PST — back at the resort

  • The endurance day - you will be tired at the end of the trip.

  • Meeting Point: 8:00 AM PST — Three Rivers Resort, Lowell, ID

  • Return: ~4:00 - 5:00 PM PST — back at the resort on last day

  • All river gear: helmet, PFD, splash top, wetsuit, river shoes, fleece

  • All camping gear - tent, sleeping bag, pad, pillow, *cots 

  • All meals (lunch day 1 → lunch last day) and beverages

  • Professional photos of your trip, delivered to your email.

  • Transportation from the resort ⇄ river

Lodging

  • 1 night at our private Lochsa camp

  • For lodging before and after your trip, we recommend Three Rivers Resort - cabins, yurts, rooms, RV sites, camping, etc.

Food & Drink

  • All meals on the river are included, from hearty breakfasts to riverside lunches and gourmet Dutch oven dinners. We also provide beer and wine (feel free to BYO favorites). We’re happy to accommodate dietary restrictions.
